Originating from Italy in 1995, the founders were heavily influenced by American culture, the freedom of the open highways and particularly inspired by the industrial design of the motorcycles used by the US law enforcement along Route 66.

The natural synergies between denim and industry lead to Zabou acquiring the rights to 883 Police in 2001 with a view to growing it beyond its native Italy. The vision was to take the principles of traditional italian tailoring and American durability and to build upon these foundations with a commitment to quality and innovation.  

As the world continues to evolve at pace and shaped by digital technologies the brand now reflects modern society with clean designs and leading manufacturing techniques, all encapsulated by the original ethos and underpinned with quality assured values.

The brand has been a key player in the denim industry in the UK for the past decade and is stocked by well known high street and online retailers
